Investor–Publisher Connect is IGDC’s flagship business matchmaking initiative, designed to connect promising game studios with leading investors, publishers, and platform partners from around the world.

Through curated business meetings, the program enables studios to showcase their games, explore investment and publishing opportunities, receive valuable industry feedback, and build long-term strategic relationships.

Since its inception, Investor–Publisher Connect has become one of IGDC’s most impactful initiatives, helping Indian studios secure funding, publishing partnerships, and international exposure while strengthening India’s game development ecosystem.

Meeting Formats

Curated One-on-One Meetings

Shortlisted studios are matched with relevant investors and publishers based on their interests, requirements, and business alignment. These pre-scheduled meetings provide a focused space for studios to explore potential investment, publishing opportunities, and strategic partnerships.

Fast Pitch Sessions

Fast Pitch Sessions allow studios to meet multiple investors and publishers through a series of five-minute interactions. This format is designed to help studios showcase their games, make new connections, and receive quick feedback from industry professionals.

Mentor Sessions

Mentor Sessions provide studios with an opportunity to interact with experienced industry professionals in a focused group setting. Studios can discuss specific challenges, ask questions, and gain practical insights across areas such as game development, publishing, marketing, monetization, and business strategy.

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by the IGDC Investor–Publisher Connect team to ensure meaningful and relevant business matchmaking.

Studios are evaluated based on:

  • Quality and originality of the game/IP
  • Stage of development and production readiness
  • Market potential and commercial viability
  • Team capability and execution readiness
  • Alignment with the interests of participating investors and publishers
  • Availability of supporting materials such as a pitch deck, gameplay footage, or playable build – Must

Q1. Who can apply?
Indian game development studios and independent developers building original games across mobile, PC, console, XR, and other platforms are encouraged to apply.
No. Due to limited meeting capacity, only shortlisted studios will receive curated one-on-one meetings.

Applications are evaluated based on game quality, development progress, commercial potential, team capability, and alignment with participating investors’ and publishers’ interests.

Curated One-on-One Meetings are scheduled in advance based on mutual interest between studios and participating investors or publishers, allowing for in-depth business discussions.

Fast Pitch Sessions are short, five-minute networking meetings that enable studios to introduce their game to multiple investors and publishers in a structured format.

Yes. During the application process, studios can indicate their preferred investors and publishers. While these preferences are considered, final meetings are scheduled based on mutual interest and availability.

Studios are encouraged to have a pitch deck, gameplay footage or trailer, a playable build (where available), and supporting material that best showcases their game and business opportunity.
Yes. Selected participants must hold a valid IGDC pass to attend their scheduled meetings.
