This initiative is here to help you develop the skill sets needed to get a foothold into the industry. Exclusive for Colleges in India where you get to run your own game Jam in your college, get the best minds from the industry to help with themes/ problem statements, jury of experts from the industry to judge the games and help you get the necessary tools to help hone up your skill sets while also getting to intern with the best studios in the Country.

GAME CONNECT
RULES & REGULATIONS:
- Any institution in India can apply to be a part of Game Connect.
- Applicant should be a Student of the institute and should also include the contact of a faculty member.
- Each Game jam to have a minimum of 10 team participanting

- Problem Statement/ Theme for Game Jam

Judging Criteria: Scoring will depend on originality of an idea, engaging gameplay and completeness of the app.
Potential Jury : IGDC will share a list of names that can be a part of the Jury. College/ Institute should reach out to the Jury directly
Participation and Winner Certificates
- College/ Institute to share list of participants and Winners
- IGDC will ship the signed certificates directly to the College.
Branding:
- IGDC will provide the Game Connect Logo to be used for all marketing and communication purposes.
- For Posters and Standees, the College/ Institute needs to provide the details of the event in the prescribed format mentioned in the confirmation form and IGDC will then provide the print files for the same.
- Digital assets (Backgrounds, Holding logos etc) will also be provided by IGDC
- The branding should be used only as per the terms and conditions laid down by IGDC
Tutorials:
- Pre- recorded tutorials on hygiene pointers of how to organise a game jam
- Pre- recorded videos on game design, tech etc
- Provide list of Participants with Name, email id, Course being pursued, College/ Institute name and phone number
- Every Participating Institute to begin a Gaming club (if one is not already in place) and share details of the same with IGDC. This will help create a culture of game development year on year.
