Taruna holds 20+ years of experience in People and Culture roles. The last 7 years have been in the gaming industry and prior in IT/ITes industries.
As the Country Manager – People and Culture for Keywords India and Lakshya, Taruna is responsible for over 1000 employees spanning 4 service lines and 3 studios (in Gurgaon, Pune and Bangalore).
She is passionate about: Nurturing Talent, Building Engaged High-Performance Teams and Fostering Diverse and Inclusive Cultures.
As a Steering Committee member of IGDC Women in Games, India, and an Individual Ambassador for Women in Games (WIG) she actively advocates for diversity and inclusion, aiming to inspire women at all career levels to join and thrive in the gaming industry
She has launched within Keywords India internship programs and mentorship schemes to empower women and also led initiatives to ensure diversity practices are followed in talent acquisition, furthering our commitment to creating an inclusive gaming industry.
In her personal life, she enjoys counseling people, listening to their stories patiently, and offering suggestions or guidance based on her experiences.
Also, she is a practitioner of Pranic Healing and finds solace in meditation
She firmly believe in lifelong learning and is dedicated to personal and professional growth.
