Dr. Varudhini Kankipati, Ph.D. is a practicing psychologist who specializes in individual, marriage, family and group psychotherapy, working with children, adolescents, and adults.
She is Co-founder of Inner-Connect psychological counseling center and is currently a counsellor for NALSAR University of Law and has over 22 years of professional counselling experience in India, U.S.A and Canada.
Dr. Kankipati is an experienced therapist with extensive knowledge of behavioral health illnesses and symptoms management through a combination of therapy and medication. She follows a holistic treatment/team approach and has much experience with CBT, Gestalt, REBT etc working in conjunction with child therapists, psychiatrists, schools’, hospitals’ and other support staff. Her treatment philosophy is influenced by her belief in the importance of treating patients through a systems perspective. In addition, she advocates and practices community based models of intervention in dealing with social issues and behavioral health issues.
